Moving On...
Feb 22nd, 2010, 7:10pm

Just a note to say farewell to friends and foes. It's been fun to have shared as well as duelled with the members here through the years. You guys are great, but as a self proclaimed subjectivist, I found a site that seems to be fit in with my ethos of things hifi and I just need to whittle down my forum membership list. I'll close my account at the end of the month. Do drop in and say hello if you get the chance: The Art of Sound Forum

Best regards everyone.

I'm a long time lurker over there... lots of info on great gear, and closer to home for you.

Tell those guys to get with it and start replacing their junk volume pots with optocouplers. They already know how great the Lightspeed sounds... they just need to take the next step and attenuate right at the input tube.

Yes, quite. Closer to home geographically as well as spiritually...  Smiley

I'll remind them. I'd be interested in getting my Carina Opto'd (is that a term?). However, do remember that, as a subjectivist site, it's always more effective coming from people with 1st hand experience.  Wink Wink

Opto'd is certainly a term, NOW.

I was wondering what had happened to your posts. I can not remember ever having a talk, your being in the UK and all, but I do remember some of your thoughts causing me to google a few times.

Best from me.

Hey Giorgino

I recall your activity here but like many it has dropped off. It was always nice to read your thoughts.

All the best

Take care, George. I've very much enjoyed your system odyssey!

Cheers,
